
The U13 Durlston netball team went unbeaten all day to be crowned Regional Champions in the IAPS qualifier held at King Edward’s, Whitley. After emerging as group winners, the impressive team faced Wellington College Prep in the quarter-final and secured a convincing 10 -4 win followed by a closely contested semi-final against Belmont School. Durlston held their lead to win 10 – 9, moving on to a thrilling final against Windlesham House. Durlston battled to a dramatic 11 -10 victory. The team will now go on to play in the National finals to be held at Rugby School.
Director of Durlston Sport, Angie Sparshott-Thompson commented “we are incredibly proud of the girls – they demonstrated incredible resilience, teamwork, and determination and we are all very excited for the finals!”
